Getting started
How long does setup take?
Most communities are live in under an hour for their first sport. Roster import from your current system adds another session depending on list size.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No credit card to create your community at /start. Add payment in Admin → Billing when you subscribe after the 14-day trial.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. Every plan includes a custom domain (e.g. yoursports.com). Point DNS to our hosting and configure the domain on your tenant.
How many sports and courts?
Unlimited sports sections. Each section has its own court count, hours, and booking rules.
Members
How do members sign in?
Email magic link (recommended), SMS one-time code, or email + password. All work on web; password and magic link work in the mobile app.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Members open app.clubcourtmanager.com or the iOS/Android app (after store release), pick their community, and sign in.
Can guests book without a roster account?
Booking is roster-only. Admins add members or approve self-signup requests.
Is SMS / text sign-in included at signup?
Email sign-in is included immediately. Text (SMS) sign-in requires US carrier registration (A2P 10DLC) for each community. After signup, submit business details in Admin → Launch; StoufferAI registers your community with carriers (typically 3–7 business days). Until then, use email link sign-in.
Why didn't my text sign-in arrive?
US carriers require business SMS registration (A2P 10DLC). Until approved, use email link sign-in — it works the same way.
Billing
What is an active member?
Someone who completed registration. Invited and pending members do not count. See pricing for plan limits.
Yes — every full CCM plan includes Club Rankings at no extra line item. Open /rankings on your community site after setup.
Can we use rankings without switching court systems?
Yes. Standalone Club Rankings ($29/mo) is for clubs that keep CourtReserve or HOA scheduling. Import roster and results via CSV.
How do session confirmations work?
When a member submits results, other players confirm or dispute. Standings update when confirmations are complete (all players or majority — admin configurable). See the Club Rankings manual (PDF).
Can we upgrade from rankings-only to full CCM?
Yes — Club Rankings → Admin → upgrade wizard. Your tenant, members, and ranking history are preserved.
United States — Vercel (application), Neon (database), Upstash (sessions). Email via Resend; optional SMS via Twilio.
Can we import our member list?
Yes. Export members to CSV from CourtReserve, HOA amenity software, or a spreadsheet and import per sport. See migration guide.
Email deliverability?
Transactional email via Resend. Admins can verify a custom sending domain in Launch settings for best deliverability. Magic links and reminders use your community branding where configured.
